Bed bugs need an expert. We confirm what you've got, treat it, then come back to make sure it's gone.
Three steps
Bed bugs are hard to get rid of. Without an expert treatment they rarely go, and they spread easily. We treat them in line with the AEPMA code of practice.
- Investigate. Most bed bug reports aren’t bed bugs. We check, confirm what you’ve got and put a plan together for your situation.
- Treat. We use a mix of containment, physical removal and insecticide.
- Follow up. About a week later we come back to check it’s worked and re-treat any hot spots.
What you’ll need to do
Write down what you’re seeing, when and where before you call. If it is bed bugs, you’ll need to hot wash all bedding and curtains above 45°C, carry them to the laundry in a sealed plastic bag, and keep the room empty until after the follow-up. Mattress protectors stay on for at least 12 months. We’ll give you the full list with your quote.

How do I know it's bed bugs?
Often it isn't. Most bed bug reports turn out to be something else, which is why we check first. Before you call, write down what you're seeing, when and where.
What will I need to do?
Hot wash all bedding and curtains above 45°C, carrying them to the laundry in a sealed plastic bag. The room should stay empty for about a week, until after the follow-up visit. We'll give you the full list with your quote.
Is there a warranty on bed bug treatments?
The warranty depends on the job, and we'll set it out in your quote. Either way, we follow up until they're under control.
