Commercial Pest Control
High-level compliance with family business service, from the corner café to hospitals and meat export plants.
Pest management for sites that get audited
Local Pest Experts writes pest management plans for businesses on the Mid North Coast, then services them and documents the work. You get the compliance a big site needs with the service of a family business.
We aren’t your typical spray and pray provider. We know what we’re doing, why we’re doing it and what you can expect. Off-the-shelf products are not our go-to, so every plan is personalised for your business.

Who we look after
From the corner café to hospitals and meat export plants.
Food production
Reports designed for HACCP and Safe Foods audits, with photos of any fixes we recommend.
Meat export plants
A plan that responds to your pest pressures, your compliance needs and what your auditors ask for.
Hospitals
Public and private. We cut unnecessary chemical use, because that lowers the safety risk.
Nursing homes and retirement living
We show you where pests get in and find food and shelter, so less chemical is needed.
Local and state government
Documented work for your records, with reports designed for local government audits.
Bakeries, cafés and restaurants
The same compliance a big site gets, with family business service.
How a commercial program works
- 01
We write your plan
It’s personalised for your business. We look at your pest pressures, compliance needs and auditing requirements, and the plan responds to all three.
- 02
We service your site
We combine traditional control methods with environmental management, across the pests and areas in your scope.
- 03
You get a report
It shows what we did, where, which pests it covered and what we used. Changes we recommend come with photos where they help, so they’re easy to spot.
- 04
We stand behind it
If pest activity returns to the managed areas between services, there’s no service charge for the extra visit.
Compliance you can hand to an auditor
Reporting and documentation are an important part of your business. Our service reports are designed to meet the requirements of external auditing bodies, and they give you, your staff and your auditors a clear record of the work done.
Documents you can get to
- Safety data sheets (SDSs)
- Chemist’s declarations
- Insurance certificates
What’s in every service report
- Scope of work applied
- Areas serviced
- Pests covered
- Products and equipment used
- Activity trends, and the percentage of activity noted or baits consumed, where we have monitoring devices
- Environmental changes we recommend, with photos where they help
Integrated pest management
Pest control depends heavily on the environment. Change the site and you need less chemical, with better results.
Entry points
If pests can’t get into high-risk areas, they can’t pose a health risk there. That can mean sealing gaps and cracks, fitting door sweepers or inspecting produce before it goes into storage or production.
Habitat
Pests need a place to live. Sealing gaps and planning how you store and rotate equipment and stock gives them fewer comfortable places to stay and breed.
Food sources
Pests need to eat. A thorough cleaning schedule that reaches under machines and storage shelves, frequent rubbish removal, lidded bins and sealed food containers all cut off the supply.
Your part in this. We’ll tell you what needs changing in our reports. You need to take reasonable steps to act on it. If those steps aren’t taken, the warranty is void and further visits are charged.

What does commercial pest control from Local Pest Experts include?
A pest management plan personalised for your business, regular services, a report after each service, and a warranty on the pests and areas in your scope. With an accepted plan you also get access to the Commercial Hub at no extra cost.
Will your reports pass an audit?
They're designed to meet external auditors, including HACCP, Safe Foods and local government. Each one covers the scope of work, areas serviced, pests covered and products or equipment used, with activity trends where we have monitoring devices in place.
What is integrated pest management?
It means combining traditional control methods with changes to the site itself. We show you where pests get in, where they live and what they're feeding on. Less of that means less unnecessary chemical and better results.
What is the Commercial Hub?
It's where you report pest sightings you're concerned about and get your previous service reports and compliance documents, including SDSs, chemist's declarations and insurance certificates. It comes at no extra cost with an accepted pest management plan.
Is there a warranty on commercial programs?
Yes. If pest activity returns to the managed areas between services, there's no service charge for the extra visit. That depends on you taking reasonable steps on the changes we recommend in our reports. If those steps aren't taken, the warranty is void and further visits are charged.
Do you only look after big sites?
No. We look after local and state government sites, food production and hospitals, and the bakeries, cafés and restaurants down the street. Your plan is written for your business, whatever its size.
Which areas do you cover for commercial work?
From our head office in Taree and our Port Macquarie depot, we cover the Manning, Forster and the Great Lakes, Port Macquarie and the Hastings. That reaches as far as Tea Gardens and Hawks Nest in the south and Nambucca Heads in the north.
Can I get a commercial price through your online quote?
No, the online quote is for homes. Commercial plans are written for each site, so send us your details on this page or call 1800 000 735.
